Inside the "J" box is a transformer (wall wart stepped down to 12 vdc) feed by the temp probe (I soldered leads to where the heater element would plugin 110) from an old hot plate which feeds the computer fan. I built a funnel for the fan to attach to one lower vent and drilled a hole about same...- dzee

Newbie - building first UDS
If you cut expanded metal right you can interlock the ends and fold them in on themself, but would have to be a square. You can get really creative and make a octagon basket the same way -
