Thanks for sharing the info, I bought one of these on sale as a replacement based on the threads in here. Definitely burns low and slow with the charcoal, the pan is too small. Tempted to just used the water tray instead, it would double the space. It runs cold and I could put my hand on the top...- deadeyepete
