    Great thanks, looked it up and it's nothing like mahogany for furniture making,as you say it's part of the rosé family.I smoked a ham joint for Christmas and all the family loved it so will also be using it to cold smoke some home cured bacon :yahoo:

    Berkel Slicer question.

    Hi guys, I live in the UK and also have a berkel slicer, it was also sold by a company called, Avery and the blade removal tool is as expensive as buying a used slicer so I wouldn't even try to get it off and clean it as best you can. Hope this was useful:sausage:
