I noticed there are quite a few smokers from Michigan. My wife and I will be staying near there on Vacation in a couple weeks. We have never been there. Could anyone tell me of any must see's good eats, things to do etc. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Joe.
Keith54 I have been doing some for about a year.I have done pretty good with poultry and ribs. I just can't seem to master brisket and pork roasts. but going to keep trying.

My son said he has eaten at a City bbq in HYde Park not far from Xavier university(go Muskies) He said the Brisket is awesome.? I have'nt eaten there yet. Maybe I can hit him up for Fathers day.
Did I see somewhere on here where someone uses a tin can puts wood chips in it and puts a wood burner or soldering iron through a hole in the can causing the chips to smoke,but keeps temp. low. I saw something like that somewhere don't remember where.
Got a turkey on getting ready to put a fattie and some squash on.
Took my ECB R2D2 put it on top of my turkey fryer burner.That little baby fits perfect on there. working great!!
Also having a homegrown tomatoe and cucumber salad.

We eat alot of it here in the Cincinnati area. Get it at our local Krogers store. Restaurants sell it mainly for breakfast.My father-in-law makes it homemade. YUMMY. I guess we will have to try some when I get a chance to...
One thing I have learned is, you will never be able to beat Moms fried chicken and taters or pies,cakes,potato saland etc.etc.etc.no matter how hard you try.
