    Mine did the same, heating element shorted to ground, remove all power and use a DVOM each heating continuity terminal to ground, I bet its shorted

    The master built cold smoker attachment would work great for you as the dize you indic as ted would burn good in the cold smoker, i have one and love it.

    Had that happen to mine also,was the heater element had a short to ground,didnt trip the gfi circuit it was on though,replaced element and all is good again
