I am going to have a go at smoking a haggis on 2nd January. This is going to be my first ever smoke and I am doing 2 hams, a turkey and a haggis.
Only problem I can see with doing the haggis is putting the thermometer into it, might try to squeeze it in where it's tied off, otherwise skin will...
We don't have Home Depot or Lowes here. Asda, a food and clothing store, is a subsidiary of Wal-Mart but don't think they sell barbequeing/smoking equipment, except maybe in the summer.

I have signed up for the course, so I am sure all will be revealed over the next few days. I didn't know that there was a difference between grilling (which I believe is called broiling in the USA) and barbequeing, so even though I still don't know the difference at least I now know there is one

Just found this site and thought I would join to learn a bit more about using the smoking part of my Brinkman Smoke n Pit. Up until now really only used it for barbeque when the weather here in Scotland has been dry enough. At least it keeps the midges away!
