Inside the "J" box is a transformer (wall wart stepped down to 12 vdc) feed by the temp probe (I soldered leads to where the heater element would plugin 110) from an old hot plate which feeds the computer fan. I built a funnel for the fan to attach to one lower vent and drilled a hole about same level as the food for the probe (see pics) works great. and the temp offset isn't that far off
