Quick question on your baffle, why go down and then at an angle out over your tuning plate ..I was thinking of going str8 down to my tuning plate or maybe a hair below
it and push the smoke up under the plate ..any help would be appreciated thanks..newbie here at smking
that's actually two pieces. the first piece has a bend in it so that it bolts to the side of the grill then kicks out at an angle and stops just above the tuning plate . . . basically right on the tuning plate. i can still slide that tuning plate around under the angled piece as needed. my major reasoning was just to try and help keep that far right from becoming so hot right by that smoke box entrance
