When the smoke clears.

I've noticed that after I have finished smoking and turned the smoker off that there is a lot of moisture/condensation inside my smoker, on the glass door and on the interior walls. This is hours after I've finished. I normally leave the door closed and don't open it until I get ready to smoke again which is normally less than a week. My question is should I start opening the door to let it dry or will that bring on rust?

  2. What smoker do you have? What does it use for fuel? If it has ash in it clean it out or you will have rusted out very fast.

    I'm sorry I intended to add that I have a 40 MES.

  4. I have a MES 40 and have never seen that problem. I don't close the top vent and I use a AMNPS so I am using dry pellets. I'd say leave the door open and let it cool down.

    Happy smoken.
