Hello,

I have grilled most of my adult life, but I'm new to smoking. I recently was given a restaurant grade smoker. It needs a little tlc but I can't seem to find any info on the company that built it. I'm trying to find a manual and possible some parts if the company is still in business. I have found some trademark info from 87-88 but nothing else so far.

The name placard info is below in case you can't see it on the pictures.

Smokey Bayou

Outdoor Smoker

#0113

Mr. Rib

Olliegator

Manufactured by

Henkel, INC.

Hammond LA USA

I was hoping someone had some info I can seem to find. I've searched online for hours.

Thanks,

Paul

Hammond is about 40 minutes away but I have never seen the manufacturer.  Did you try the yellow pages??

Hello Paul and Welcome.  No info from me but How about you begin with some picts of that smoker.  Maybe you can't find parts for it but you may be surprised at what the SMF folks can come up with .  Good luck.

Danny

So I did call Henkel in Hammond LA and left a detailed message. They called me back today and the smoker is a custom built restaurant smoker from 1989. Being custom built no real manual so I'm going to have to wing it. They might be able to help me with the few parts I need.

It's great that I got some info about it though.
