Got home from fishing with my long time fishing buddy and thought about what to cook. I pulled a several year old T-Bone out and threw it in a sink full of water. Thawed in no time. This was going to need some help. I put into teriyaki sauce and grated a couple chunks of frozen pineapple. I have learned it does not take much. Have been using just one chunk but decided on 2. This turned out to be to much and only did 1.5 hours. All in all for an old steak it was pretty good. Did have a touch of old taste and a bit to tender but was pretty good. Still struggling to find good corn!

Looks like a really good meal to me. Corn around here has been some of the best in years. Same goes for the melons.

The melons been really good around here. I been eating them about every day. Probably going to show on my blood work next week. Last year was great for corn but not this year. Guess its the drought.

Looks good from here! All around great day and you made some room in the freezer!!!
I have not been keeping any. All ready have a couple in the freezer and getting ready to try my hand at Catfish. My buddy is all catch and release but I do want to keep another striper to make Texas Lobster down on the river for some friends. It is striper boiled in crab boil.

BBQ and fishing , it's a good day for sure.

Good way to deal with an older slice of beef. looks good .
Our corn is just coming out now , big feed coming this weekend.

Nice fish, we have a size limit here , anything under 23" has to go back into the water.

I'd gnaw the bone on that great looking 'old" steak. And looks like a good day of fishing. Better than working....right?

"Good Corn"??? Around the Mid Atlantic States, all we have to do is go to New Jersey for the best Corn we know of.
