Seems to be a lull here in the summertime. Hopefully things will pick up when it cools down. I don't do much smoking in the summer....but I do some grilling of chicken, burgers, brats etc. easy stuff. . I have a Green Mountain Daniel Boone pellet smoker that I'm still trying to get tuned in. Having issues with digital readout needing to be a lot higher readout to get an actual 225 - 240 temp. (Readout has to show around 255 to 260). What are you using - and how long you been smoking?
Hi AZ porky here im new to electric smoking, have a mbs that I just bought . It is a little different than my propane smoker I had for ten years. Still . Learning i bid a brisket Friday night and I wasn't real happy with it. It came out a little dry. I cooked it to an IT of 190 like the recipe said. Oh well still learning.
