Ok I know that should already know better, but I guess I dont. I just a brand new Super Longhorn smoker and had a big group of people over for dinner last night. I unloaded the smoker and threw on a pork shoulder and a beef tenderloin. I let it all smoke over a Mesqite wood fire at 250 degees for about 8 hours and when I served it, everything tasted like plastic and i had to send out for Pizza. What did i do wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
