My first go at Qview

    A chicken I smoked this weekend in my MES, hope the pics turn out well!

    Looks like a tasty bird, what did you rub it with, looks like a nice rub.
    Would have loved a cut pic but that's just because I'm drooling a little but all over the keyboard would be better [​IMG]

    I basted it with a quick mix of evoo, oregano, garlic, and some cachere's seasoning about an hour before i took it out, the original rub is just a store bought bird rub, montreal i believe.

    I'm smoking two 6lb birds and 12 legs for the kids on Christmas.
    Gotta love how much more flavor and juice you get from a smoked bird.[​IMG]
    Did you brine it first and then rub?

    I didn't brine it as I had found this website mid smoke, but I will definately do it next time, my wife liked it alot but thought the meat needed more flavor, and I hope the brine takes care of that next time.
