We are newbies to smoking. Trying to read as much as we can. Last year we did a small amount of smoking. We used Kingsford charcoal. We've been reading about lump charcoal. I've read a good lump charcoal can hold heat longer. Can someone give their opinions?

It also creates less ash waste. If you use the search tool above for "lump charcoal" you can get tons of info on the subject and preferences.
