My name is Michael and I'm about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA. I've been smoking meat for over 20 years, starting with charcoal water smokers(Brinkman and Weber), occasionally using an electric element, then, about 3 years ago, buying a cheaper electric model (Landmann), and very recently purchasing a Smokin'it Model 2 (thanks to reviews and posts on this forum).
I smoke 3-4 times a month, mostly conventional meals. I've enjoyed reading the reviews and recipes here and thought it was time to participate and maybe try to give back a little (if I can).
I'll post pictures and more details of my setup in a few weeks.
