I am wanting to start smoking. I am going to get a smoker and am looking for a lot of help. Gas? Charcoal? Electric?

Thanks

Welcome to the SMF, there are a lot of options, read on your left
and do some searches here. A lot depends on how much you want
to smoke etc.

Welcome to SMF!

The kind of smoker you get has a lot to do with how much time you have to tend it, how much of a budget you have and how much space you have to work with.

I have a Masterbuilt Electric Smokehouse because I often don't have time to tend a fire the way it needs to be done. I also can get called in to work without much notice so the electric makes it possible for my wife or daughter to take over.

I'm sure other folks will be along shortly to say "howdy" and to put in their 2 cents worth.

Welcome aboard!!

Welcome to SMF! Lots of choices in smokers. I have one propane and one charcoal and love them both!

Browse through the forums, I'm sure you will get some ideas.

Take care, have fun, and do good!

Regards,

Meowey
