Im new to the forum but have been lurking for a while
Im a 27 year old social worker, married with a 3 year old smoke apprentice
Ive been around smoking most of my life, but have never had a "real" setup.
I just bought a 1960s ge freezer and will be starting my build soon
i will be making the 1960s ge a hot charcoal & wood smoker, but also bought a later model one for some cold smoking, to work on later.
My dad has been into bbq a long time, placing second at the art of bbq in Tulsa several years ago for his brisket, we even had a short lived sauce and rub company called masterbaster :-)
Im glad I joined the forum and hope to learn a lot.
