Hello all! I am a 32 year old who is not new to smoking at all. I am however new to some of the techniques that some of the people on here use. i have used a baffle in my smoke but know nothing about diffusers or using apple juice in the smoker. i am currently gathering the supplies to build a "Big Baby Double Barrel Smoker". I would love to hear of any design flaws that can be corrected during construction or tips that may help me use the smoker to its full potential. i intend to use the vogelzang premium stove and double barrel kits with 55 gallon drums. i also plan on using a baffle and making it a reverse flow smoker with 2 removeable grills and a hook in the center so i can hang a ham for smoking as well. i was thinking about putting a propane fire starter in the bottom barrel and a wood rack for drying wood on the back of the bottom barrel. i plan to put fire bricks and a grate in the bottom. cant wait to hear the input that some of the experts on here might have. thanks in advance. oh, please excuse my manners....my name is jeremy and i live in savannah tn
