Connor had been drinking at the Dublin pub all night. The barman finally said that the bar was closing. So, he stood up to leave, fell flat on his face. He tried to stand one more time; same result.

Connor figured he'd crawl outside and get some fresh air and to sober him up.

Once outside, he stood up and fell flat on his face again. So, he decided to crawl down the street to his house.

Once at the door, he again tried to get up and fell flat on his face. He crawled through the door and into his bedroom.

When he reached his bed he tried again to stand up. This time he managed to pull himself upright, quickly flopped into the bed and was fast asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

He was awakened the next morning with his wife standing over him, shouting, "CONNOR, YOU'VE BEEN DRINKING AGAIN!"

Putting on an innocent look, and intent on bluffing it out, he asked, "What makes you say that?"

“The barman just called, you left your wheelchair there again."
