any thoughts or tips on smoking a chuck roast ???
Diablo Beef -
5 Lb. Chuck Roast
1 bottle All Spice Café’s Chipotle Garlic Sauce
Cattlemen’s Grill Steak Seasoning
4 cups beef broth
Dried red peppers, to taste
Sliced cheese, we used pepper jack
Onions and sweet peppers sautéed, to taste
Inject roast with beef broth
Rub with a heavy coating of seasonings
Add peppers if desired
Cover with sauce
Put on uncovered at 300 deg for 2 hours. Cover and continue cooking at 300 for 3 hours until “butter tender”
Shred beef and serve
I smoke it just like a butt.
