I am just finishing up a new outdoor kitchen and started lurking the forum to find info on the type of smoker to build. I ended up purchasing a Masterbuilt gas as I like the idea of less fire tending. So now I am on a mission to put it through its paces to see if I'll be happy with a vertical gas smoker.

Welcome to the forum!! Lot's of great Que have come out of gas smokers, so I'm sure you'll be able to produce a product that you are happy with. Lots of folk on here with more experience than me with gassers, sp don't be afraid to ask questions and we look forward to seeing some of your results.

Welcome to the site, can you show a pic or two of your outdoor kitchen - I would like to see it.

Chris

Welcome glad to have you on board. I have a 40" master built gasser been using over 6 years. You get the single burner or the dual? They have a newer model that has a thermostat like a kitchen oven set it and the heat is to remain there. There are a lot of guys on here that have these smokers.

Pics of setup. Still need to install mahogany bar rail and seal tile.
