OK, it is 1/2 a unit. My dad is the ceo of a remanufacturing plant. (w/ the all the tree huggers they take other's scraps and make something else from it) Most of the stuff at his place is fingerjoint and edge glued to make a usable board from scrap but they had a half a unit of hickory left over from a job. 3/4"x8"x10' long boards stacked in a 2'x4' unit. it is now sitting in my garage. i guess I will never have to buy chips again. also found a lady selling a fallen pecan tree and got 2-3 limbs for free. good week for wood.
