Been pretty busy with work haven’t had a chance to post a few recent cooks. It was mostly chicken so I figured I’d share them here. But first was some chicken wings I did

I mixed up flour, paprika, a little chili powder, garlic powder and onion powder. Put them in a bath of milk and an egg mixed. Then they went in the breading mix. These were gonna be naked so I used more garlic and onion powder than I usually do. After they were dipped and covered I put them in the fridge for about 30 minutes while I was getting the fryer going. (I have done this before with just the breading I won’t do it again if I put them in the milk and egg because it made them a little tacky after sitting in the fridge and wanted to stick in the fryer a little)

Turned out pretty good.

Next was a rack of baby backs. Jeff’s rub and onto the Kettle with a little apple wood

Next up was some boneless wings. Same process as the other wings but less garlic and onion powder and used a mix of Hooters medium sauce, franks and butter. Cut up some potatoes to make fries too which were really good

Most recent was my favorite. I soaked a chicken breast in Italian dressing overnight, along with partially cooking a potato in the microwave for 5 minutes and sliced it up and soaked them in italian dressing too. Family was gone so I got a chance to burn the potatoes the way I like them. I poured more dressing on right before it came off. Anyway Here are the pics from that one. Thanks for looking!

Some good looking chow right there. I'd be helping myself to seconds on those chicken nuggets.

Point for sure

It all looks scrumptious! The chicken looks great, but the babybacks are what really grabbed my attention. yum.
Thanks I cooked the ribs on our first 50+* day last weekend and the kids were all over the neighborhood playing so by the time they got back home they were gone 😂
Yardbird and ribs, tough to beat, you did some nice work there! RAY
