Hey meatheads (I mean this is the most endearing way possible). I'm from Central Florida, Sebring to be exact, which is about an hours south of Orlando. I'm new to smokers and BBQ in general, although I like to cook. I'm strongly considering getting a smoker soon, and I'm leaning toward a propane one at this point. Problem is, I have no idea what one to get! There's so many, all of various quality even within the same price range. So, I come to you fine people looking for advice. A few of my needs/wants;
-200-250$ budget
-Needs to be ok with getting rained on for at least a little bit (a clear day in Florida can become torrential downpours in 5 minutes)
-Doesn't need to be very big. It's just myself and my girlfriend to cook for
-It would be nice to be able to smoke low temp stuff, such as cheese and fish, although from what I've read gas smokers tend to run quite hot comparitively and this might not be possible
-Easy to clean is a nice perk as well
Thanks in advance, and I look forward to picking your brains for recipes and advice :)
