made a nice roasted veggie salsa for dipping and to go on tacos. roma tomatos, red bell pepper, a poblano and grilled onions. chicken breasts brined all day and the marinated in mojo criollo, try it out its deliscious

first of all, that new grill is a BEAUTY!  dang!

and, man, those tacos totally rock!

i always use corn tortillas, just out of habit.   seeing your Q view makes me want to try to switch it up with some flour tortillas

don't you just love that about Q views?   seeing other people's work always fires up your own creativity.

good job, smokinstevo27!

thanks boys, the poblano in the salsa is fantastic, I just blistered all the veggies black, then peeled them, put in blender with the juice of a whole lime, salt, pepper, and a little olive oil. i dont know if yall have ever used a mojo marinade but im hooked on this stuff. its citrus juices with garlic and spices mixed in. I also did this with sirloin tip steak. i get the marinade in the spanish foods section of my food lion grocery store

Congrats on the new grill but the grill almost looks as good as the taco's do. Sweet homemade salsa too.

I have wanted this grill for a long time but couldn't really afford it. Lowes has them on sale for $499 and they are normally anywhere from $650 to 700. The sale lasts through Jan 15 theyre clearing out 2010s to make room for the 2011 model. I use charcoal for smoking but have always thought grilling is just more convenient with LP grills. And this baby gets hot and gets hot quick!

I paid 389.00 for my Weber genesis  in 1986 I am still using it. best money ever spent! My neighbors have gone thru 5 or 6 grills apiece since I bought mine.

just last year I replaces the grates and flavorizer bars with new stainless steel ones. other than that it has had nothing done to it except cooked on!

and I use it year round.

Thats why we got it. We are hoping for many years of service!
