Hi all

Hi to everyone, My name is Rick but you can call me Lugz if ya want. I'm out in the sticks about 45 minutes north of Kansas City Mo. I've done a lot of grilling but just now getting into true bbq and smoking. My hobbies include cooking, hunting, ham radio when I get the chance and cutting wood ( ok its not a hobby but my saws are biggrin.gif ). Looking into making my own sausage of all kinds at some point and I love making hot sauce and maybe when things are better with the dollar I can market it! Until then I'll just keep eating my work.

First off welcome Rick to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.
Here's a link to photobucket it's free and easy to download pictures. Then if your really new to smoking Look up the E-course.
It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.

Thank you for the welcome! I will check out the E-course tomorrow night before I turn in.
Had the picture thing figured out for the most part. Seems every forum is a bit different. My first post was in Fatties, with picturesPDT_Armataz_01_12.gif I love the way our valley smells after a good day of cooking, I'd hate to be my neighbors, just imagine the envy and the torture!

Hope to see all of you around later, for now have a good night!

How to post Qview to Forum:

When you uploading to Photobucket I always use the Large IMG setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...

Everyone here enjoys seeing the Qview so be sure to post plenty of pics...

Large ones that us old people with bad eyes can see.
