Hi everyone,
I just wanted to come in here and tell everyone hello. I'm from Iowa, La. and I have been smoking mostly Brisket and Turkey for a few years, nothing professional; on an old Brinkman with a fire box. Well after years of use it finally burnt out on me and I decided to upgrade to the new Char-Griller Duo Gas / Charcoal with a side fire box and burner on the opposite end. I was able to season and burn it last weekend now that it finally quit raining down here. I work 7&7 so I'm hoping to get to do the first smoke on it next weekend.
This looks like a great site with all the advice and recipes I think I found a new home. And anyhow enough rambleing, once again hello and looking forward to chatting with all.
