Heavy Modded Char-Griller Minnesota

As you can see by the pictures I have a heavy modded Char-Griller for sale. This works great in all types of terrain, this is not a Concrete Baby, it goes off road.

What started out as a normal smoker ended up with this.
Turned into a reverse flow
Built charcoal basket,
Working shelf,
Lined with mild steel to help keep the heat,
And did I mention aluminum golf cart wheels with spinners?

$325.00 picked up

Nice smoker Mark! What are you replacing it with?

I'm located about 45 minutes south of Minneapolis, near Faribault, MN

I can get some more pictures posted tonight. The wrap around "L shelf" is made from steel. I think it is actually a metal shelf that was fit and cut?

I made the leap to a Stumps. I've been following them for sometime, and decided to go with a Stretch. Even though I've pulled some great tasting food off the Char-Griller, I'm looking forward to the Stretch.

Nice work! I'm not a buyer for you -- but you do get points.gif for the great mods!

Can you tell me more (and/or show pics) of what you did with the steel lining to help keep the heat? And how has that done?

Great job man!!!

The previous owner did the mods, I was lucky enough to get to enjoy them a couple of years. He took thin sheet metal and double lined the chamber. Ran a spacer between the factory metal and the liner. This gives it a dead air space to retain heat better. He also made a metal plate to sit above charcoal basket, that keeps heat from radiating out the firebox lid.

Our home compluter is down and I need that in order to upload some pictures. Maybe by Sunday I'll have it back?
