My names Tom and I have never smoked meat before. a masterbuilt smokehouse showed up at Christmas and i ran across this forum trying to figure out what to do with it.
The plan was to lose some weight this year but after reading some of the post here i can see thats just not going to happenicon_wink.gif A lot of great info you all have amassed here. Doing the first brisket this friday, cant wait.

How to post Qview to Forum:

When you uploading to Photobucket I always use the Large IMG setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...

Everyone here enjoys seeing the Qview so be sure to post plenty of pics...

Large ones that us old people with bad eyes can see.

Focus on chicken & pork tenderloin and your waistline won't suffer too badly. I love me some Q & I've managed to lose almost 100 lbs over the last 2 years.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm from Lynnwood Wa BTW.
Just got it set up outside but with this rain perhaps ill set it up next to the forge. Temp control seems to be as important as rubs and sauce.
