At my house my daughter and I are the only 2 people who like good old southern cornbread dressing. All of the others won't touch the stuff(ing) with a 10' pole. Some don't like celery, others don't like sage, etc. etc. etc. Do any of you have any dressing recipes that are away from the norm that you'd be willing to share?

Have you tried corn bread and oyster dressing yet it's really good too. If I can find the link I'll sentit to you.

mballi I do absolutely love oyster dressing but the rest do not so that one is out the window as well. My main problem is that while my in-laws are wonderful people, the poor old souls just don't know what good food is. (But if I want them to know that I'll tell 'em myself). But thank you none the less.

What about just taking Peperidge farm stuffing mix and add some sausage and chopped onion(sauteed till translucent) Always works for me. But I like the cornbread too. Maybe put one in the neck and one in the body. Use the neck for you and your daughter as it holds less.
