Hello everyone, I found this website from the www.michigan-sportsman.com website. I like to bbq. And I always wanted to start smoking meats. So last fall I bought a used Brinkman and cleaned it up and now with spring in the air, I'm anxious to start using it. I'm sure I'll get some great tips from here. Lord knows I'll need them, since I am entirely new to smoking.
Lets see, I like to bird hunt, walleye, salmon and perch fish. And I also enjoy working / training my dogs. I have a black lab, a Weimaraner and a now 8 month old German Shorthair pointer.
For the first time in many years I have the summer off from coaching my 2 sons travel baseball teams. So I'm looking forward to a lot of fishing and smoking this summer. And most of all, boating with my wife.
