Eastoer Cherry Glazed Chipolte Ham

I used canned cherries Cherry jelly and black cherry juice with Captains. Rubbed the ham with chipolte powder then glazed then smoked with Cherry and Hickory smoke with cowboy lump (cause I didn't know any better :-). Since it was already cooked I slow smoked it to about 110 for 5 hours. The fire peaked at 225 then dropped to 110 for the smoke. Threw on some tators and am getting ready to dig in!

Gonna put the smoked ham bone in beans. Wonder if I should give it another smoke?

Looks great AZ, will have to try the cherry chipotle sometime, since I am a chipotle crazed fool icon_biggrin.gif

Did up my ham tonight, came out very good, used a honey whiskey mustard glaze to finish, with an initial honey mustard rub mix... am guilty camera broke so no q-view.

Thanks for sharing your smoke... even with me being over induldged with smoked ham, always have room for chipotle glaze PDT_Armataz_01_37.gif

seen some pretty hams this easter and cherry seems to be the cool thing this year, both for glaze and wood. shure leave a pretty ham with a dark exterior!!! points.gif if i still got any to give out!!!
