I think I found a new hobbie that you get to eat. I bought a 250 dollar smoker from walmart. The brand name is a royal oak. Is this anygood if it isnt well I guess I am stuck with it. Anyway it has a side box for wood or charcoal. I prefer wood and have already took advantage of the site and tried it out with three chickens I smoked for a church gathering. It turned out great. I was going to try some pulled pork this up coming weekend and think I will just go ahead and buy jeff's recipe's. I have read so much good things on it. Well anyway just wanted to say Hi and what a great site this is. Thanks to all that help to make it great. Scott Dove.

Welcome aboard, Scottdove!

You've come to the right place! First I would suggest that you sign up for Jeff's free Five Day e-course on smoking.

And as always, if you have a question, no matter how simple, trite or stupid you may think it is, we're here to help!

So post away my new friend!

Cheers!
