I just completed my 1st butt today (excellent!) and we have some leftovers. Whats the best way to store them?

I currently have them stored in the fridge in a brand new, sealed rubbermaid bowl.

Should I split some to the freezer?

sure- freeze some juice w/ it. i always save my brisket au jus- goes great on burgers or soak bacon in it overnight before frying. pulled pork saves well in the freeze- just whatever ya do save the juice & add 1 cup of water per 2 lb of meat & simmer down for reheating or carne guisada.

You can use zip lock freezer bags. Squeeze most of the air out when you close the bag. If you have a foodsaver system, that is a good way to store pulled pork long term in the freezer.

Hope this helps!

Take care, have fun, and do good!
