The beets where really good. They were very sweet.Simple. Rubbed with olive oil and sprinkled with kosher salt and garlic powder. I used Apple chunks and royal oak ridges and lump in my Akorn.

I love royal oak charcoal, great briqs for the price!

So last weekend i smoked chicken quarters, beef ribs, cowboy rib-eye, and pork loin. I have pics of everything but the pork loin. The cowboy rib-eye got smoked and will be rev. seared tonight and sides added for delivery to my neighbor for his birthday dinner. ( this will become its own thread tomorrow) But i thought i would share a couple pics here of the other meats i cooked.

Beef on the left side of the smoker..ribs on top and rib-eye on bottom

ribs have Chicago steak seasoning on them

rib-eye has Worcestershire sauce and black pepper over night

chicken on the right...all leg/thigh quarters skinned and brined 12 hours

brine was salt sugar and roasted garlic and herb seasoning for flavor

I will get a shot of the finished chicken tonight and i will add to this thread sorry beef ribs didn't last long enough for finished pics!

Happy Smoking,

OMG I am drooling! That brisket looks amazing.
I need to do another one since I added some mods to my offset.
