Hi folks - very new to smoking but have already learned a great deal from the forum so thanks to all for previous posts.
I have the smallest Weber Smokey Mountain and it seems good - did a pulled Pork and some local fresh fish and both panned out better than I could have hoped for given my limited cooking and smoking skills! I did find some of the fittings on the WSM not up to scratch quality-wise - thermometer steams up and becomes unreadable at times, door closure (others have mentioned) is dodgy and so on otherwise good for the job!
I am still getting used to managing the temp range and vent openings etc. but that must always be the case for a new person to this art.
all the best, Sean
