Hi Guys
Just joined up here after lurking for a while.
I'm 54 and my wife and I own a large Antique Store in Buffalo MN.
She pretty much runs the store and I'm the Picker. When I'm not picking I spend most of my time at my off site Workshop repairing and restoring furniture. I also custom build cabinets and bars or anything for that matter the customer wants it and I can build it I will.
Some weeks I will spend over 60 hours here and thought about getting a small Grill to cook some burgers and hot dogs. I went to look at the grills at Home Depot and I saw the smokers.
I saw the River Grill Cattleman 29 inch for 129 bucks and figured what the heck. Got it assembled lit it up to burn off and went up to the butcher got a rack of ribs to try it out.
Hickory chips in the smoker box half a coffee can full of charcoal on the grill running 200 degrees. Put the rub on the ribs and set them on the grill I'm thinking 4 hours then sauce them up and put them over the coals for about 15 minutes then pull them off and let him rest for 5 minutes then eat. Let me know your thoughts
I know it's a cheap set up but it's good enough for my shop and it makes work not so boring
