There is a really long thread (likely multiple threads) on here about all the mods that people do to their OK Joes to make them more efficient and stable cookers. Also note that the OKs that are being sold by the box stores now are not the same ones that are discussed in many of the older threads as OK Joe was bought out by somebody (Chargriller?) and they are made cheaper now and not all the features are the same. you can likely still make some decent food with one, but it might take some tinkering.
