Morning smoker frands. I am Tony, living in New Haven Connecticut. Originally from the BOURBON state, Kentucky!

I am no stranger to smoking some meat. I enjoy smoked wings most of all. I like to experiment with recipes. Typically set up two flavors for each batch of wings I do. Previously I used my family's Traeger electric pellet hopper smoker. Since moving away, I have not lived in a residence that allowed me to keep a smoker. BUT I do now...so I am pumped to start smoking some wangz and other meat this summer.

I made a small investment in a Masterbuilt PRO 30" duel fuel (propane and charcoal) smoker from Home Depot. I did a fair amount of investigating prior and figured this was the best bang for my buck. We will see how it goes. I know the pros and cons. I know there are much better smokers out there but I wasn't in the position to get a 3-6 hundred dollar smoker. This will do for now.

Welcome any advice from current or previous owners of this smoker.

This is my "Roll Call!" look forward to sharing pictures, experiences and recipes.

I use mesquite for wings, because it's such a short smoke, I want something strong.

For everything else I use hickory.
