I am looking for one of the 275 gal oval tanks. I live in Omaha Ne and I cannot find one anywhere and have been searching for months! Anyone out there have any leads or know where I can find one? Willing to drive and willing to pay! Please let me know! Thanks!

If this is what you are looking for try searching craigslist for heating oil tanks. They are thinner metal than propane tanks. You won't get the heat retention that a thicker tank will yield. If you want a taller tank for more racks you can split a pipe in half and weld in a band in the middle. You can make it as tall as you need it.

Atomicsmoke I would love one of those tanks but not exactly what I'm looking for haha!

AK, yeah that's what I'm looking for. I am not experienced with metal work at all and I've seen guys cut the pipe and weld in a band, I don't t think I'm capable of that right now lol. I wish I was but the tank just seems the easiest way to go at this point for me. I've seen guys have success with the types of tanks and I'm doing a center feed so I think it would be the best option for me.

I know a guy who has a tank he'd probably sell. About 30 minutes south of Wichita KS
It's been sitting on his land for quite a number of years

Jake, that's not to far from me and if the price is right i would be willing to drive down there. all considering that your friend would want to let it go. if you check on it let me know and maybe we could work something out. I've been searching for a long time!

I'll holler at him today and get some pictures for you. I talked to him yesterday and he said he has several tanks out there he's wanting to get rid of. I'll get some pictures and send them your way
