New member and relatively new to smoking.  Now that I've managed to retire and can enjoy some of the things I didn't have time for before I made the decision to put my Weber kettles in a corner and dive into smoking.

I'm starting off with a recently purchased Green Mountain Daniel Boone.  I wanted to smoke a pork loin this afternoon and came across this forum while looking for suggestions.  It appears to be a very well laid out and informative place with lots of friendly and helpful members.  I'm looking forward to participating.

It's currently 29 degrees here in central Missouri and my Daniel Boone is smoking along very nicely under it's thermal blanket.  We'll see how it works out in an hour or two.
