well howdy everyone. just picked up my first smoker. its a dyna-glo double door vertical gas smoker. just got here today so its assembled. getting ready to season it and shut it down for the night. first thing i did was take the thermometer out of the door and check it in the kitchen. its about 28 degrees on the high side. my candy thermometers were all at 212 in boiling water and the smoker unit says 240. gonna order an amazn pellet smoker so we can do some cheese also while the weather is cold. glad to be here
