Just joined after lurking for a while. Great info on this site, I've already learned a lot. I recently bought a Horizon 20" offset smoker and love it. Took a little getting used to controlling temperature and smoke but think I have it figured out pretty well. To date, have smoked:

Chicken Thighs- first smoke, durned out average.

Ribs- Baby back and Spare Ribs. The wife and I agree that we prefer baby back so far.

Brisket- Two small flats and one 16# packer. The flats were a learning experience and the packer was great.

Look forward to contributing and continuing to learn from you all.

Horizonsmkr, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here and putting your new toy through its paces.  We all have those learning experiences but they disappear pretty quickly.  Have fun and looking forward to seeing you around the Forum!
