I've attached some pictures of my MBPro conversion from propane to natural gas. Besides going with natural gas, I'll be using a cast iron skillet for the wood chunks. If all goes as planned, I'm painting the wind barrier "fire red".
Calling upon the collective genii in this forum, I have a couple of questions regarding this build:
1. The wind barrier sides are 9 inches from the smoker; the rear 6 inches. Is that far enough to prevent a visit from the
local fire department?
2. If not far enough, is there some type of radiant/heat barrier I can install?
If the answer is no to both, I can unmount the wind barrier as it is just screwed to the rolling base.
Thanks.
