Contemplating a new Software Tool

I'm looking around my computer for recipes and I have them scattered everywhere. I have been looking for a decent open source (free) tool for those of us hard core grillers and smokers and have found nothing that really does what I want. Here is what I want:

The ability to store and categorize recipes (thats a common feature) but I want to create my own categories.

The ability to log my cooks.

The ability to add notes to specific recipes.

Is this something others here might be interested in? If you know of a software that exists please share or if this idea interests you please let me know what features you would like to see incorporated.

I use paprika, not free, but not expensive either.

@dirtsailor2003 Thanks for the tip. Do you log any of your cooks?

I log my cooks here. I do make notes on my recipes I have in paprika.
