Hi there. The name is earl and I'm new to the forum and new to smoking meats also. We live in ponchatoula, la. The old lady and I purchased a 40" masterbuilt gas smoker, and love it. So far we've made the a batch of the absolute best kielbasa we've ever had using a recipe we found on the internet. We can't wait to try more and incentives we make our own homemade fresh sausage. One of the things we want to do next is a smoked sausage fatty. But we also have plans for ribs, pork butt, chickens, pork loin. Man, there is not enough weekend!!!
