Phew. It was nice to get that off my chest. I chopped my last brisket... both the flat and the point, then mixed it all together.
And I'm gonna do it again... on Sunday.
Heck there is no right or wrong with BBQ unless in a competition. If you like your Brisket smeared with PB&J and mashed Bananas...Have at it. Nobody can say what is right or wrong, just give THEIR preference. I like Ribs with tug, the family like fall off the bone. I make both and there is rarely leftovers. Since you like Beef chopped or shredded, look into Chuck. Frequently on sale and usually cheaper than Brisket, depending on your location...JJ
