Hi, I'm Carrie, I am the smoker in the family, we live North of Houston. The other day my dear husband asked me to do some research on what type of smoker I'd like for Christmas. I've had an offset smoker for years til we had to move to a temp. apartment while building our retirement home. So that was given away due to age and lack of storage. After reading quite a few threads, I decided on an MES 40, 20070311. The Weber Smoker is still on my wish list for later. lol! So I checked around and Academy had 3 left. So off we went and bought it. He is putting it together for me right now.
A big thanks for all who have contributed to the discussion of smokers that really helped me make my decision. I do have an email sent to Todd to make sure I am ordering the correct pellet smoker.
