Alright the fattie finals are upon us! Here is the offical thread.

Fattie Contest Rules:

1. All fatties must use 1 pound of ground meat for your fattie roll. No more, no less.

2. All fatties must be wrapped in some sort of bacon. Turkey, beef, Canadian, etc...

3. You can present your fattie on the plate however you want. If you have a sauce you want to use on the side put it on the plate. Keep in mind Appearance will be judged.

4. Fattie turn in time is 2:30pm on August 15th. Then all fatties will be smoked together. Judging will be around 5:30-6:30pm.

This is what we have for now. More might be added later.

We're trying to get as many fatties as possible. June's contest had 6. I believe we're at 9-10 now. Hopefully we will get a few more late entrees.

Good luck to everyone!

We received some stuff from amazn smokers to give away at the June gathering but it showed up late. We will be giving it away Saturday!

Warming up the water and butter for the corn-on-the-cob.

Freshly picked ears from a field just up the road!

HillbillyRockstars awesome setup. A 40x48 barn perfect for gatherings!

Handymanstan's smoker worked hard that day churning out ABT's, Wicked Beans, and Fatty's for the contest.

Fatty entries smoking on the treager.

Treager turning out some TBS

Humdingers wife's homemade mac and cheese and some sausages taking on smoke in Hillbilly's MES.

Hillbilly and his lovely bride (Crystal) getting the chicken quarters on the grill. They both worked hard all day to make the party a great one. Thanks again for being such great hosts!

Grilling quarters with some of Hillbilly's rub. That was a really nice grill too by the way.....

Had some old school Nintendo going on in the barn. Great for all the kids running around.

Scott (HillbillyRockstar) doing his thing!

The Woodward Dream Cruise (look it up) was also this day. We had one fatty blowout on the grill and one Classic Muscle car blow out on the road! LOL

Fatty entries are in!

The judges have taken their places. It was some tough competition.

Decisions decisions.......(sorry, dont know why this one is in Sepia tone.)

That's all I got. I took off after that. If anyone has any pics to add please do!

Once again, it was a great time Scott. Thanks for hosting at the "Way Out There" Ranch

No problem Stan. It was a good time for sure. I also smuggled home some of the candied/smoked pecans you made. The wife was very pleased!

You came in 12th Kurt. Better step your game up cause next year were shooting for 30 fatties and charging an entree fee so we will have cash prizes as well! Shooting for a yearly Fattie finals at our place.

Thanks again for entering and for all your help.

The winning Philly cheesesteak fattie.

Joe with his big check and amazn smoker prizes.

3rd place winner Jamey with his amazn smoker tshirt prize.

I took second place with an Italian sub fattie. Won a amazn tube smoker and bag of pitmasters pellets but donated them to a buddy who's just starting out in the smoking world.

Can't thank Todd and amazn smokers enough!
